As we move toward winter and the days get shorter, please help us keep our children safe on dark mornings. Many of our students walk to school and stand at bus stops. Please drive slowly and use these safety tips to help protect our students. Thank You.

Holly Betz, Evelyn Jones, Nancy Kitchens, Stan Mangham, Ray Nash and Jane Stelling will represent the 12th class of Griffin-Spalding Educator Hall of Fame inductees! The 2024 class will be inducted at the board of education meeting on Tuesday, October 22, at 6 p.m. in the board room at 216 S. 6th Street. Congratulations to these exemplary educators!

This special evening will celebrate both ℳ𝒶𝓉𝒽 Night and ℒ𝒾𝓉ℯ𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓎 Night, offering a fantastic opportunity for fun and learning for the whole family✨ For Math Night, we are partnering with Math For Adults, bringing engaging activities and tools to boost your math skills. Then, get ready for our Open Mic Literacy Night, where you can share stories, poems, or just enjoy the magic of words. We can’t wait to see everyone there and share in this wonderful evening of education and celebration🧮🫶🏾📚

A Big Thank You to Mrs. Flynt🍿🎉✨ We want to give a special shoutout to our wonderful school counselor, Mrs. Flynt, for making fall break even sweeter! Thanks to her, our scholars were able to “pop” into fall break with a delicious PBIS treat. Scholars redeemed their points for a bag of popcorn, complete with all the yummy toppings! We truly appreciate your dedication, Mrs. Flynt, in making these moments extra special for our students. Thank you for always going the extra mile!
